Accessing information from the Web, articles, books, and papers; observing and listening to television, radio, and documentaries; or even downloading Webcasts we see and listen to it depicted diversely as a time of conversion, crisis, or revolution, both inside the church and in the world.Sometimes during supplication or communion, you may sense a strong spurring or encouragement to consider regular ministry. During a mission trip or at a church retreat, you might feel that God seems to be bidding you to regard ministry as a career. Sometimes, however, you may feel that bidding while you’re in the center of one of your usual activities such as going to class, working at your job, Systematic Theology or spending time with acquaintances. Maybe someone has said something to you that began this train of thought. However the invitation arrives, you have to determine how you will respond. Is God calling you to utilize your gifts and talents as an consecrated minister? You likewise require honest feedback. Speak with your kinfolk, friends, and your minister, or another dedicated deacon or elder. Share your thought processes and plans with these individuals and ask their advice.
