August 24th, 2010 . by adminThe car she was planning to buy was very beautiful. We were in full agreement it was worth her money. She woke up rather early and excited. This is the day she was going to have her own car. We had already planned a road trip to enjoy the ride. We all took her to pick it up. After clearing the payments and getting all the necessary receipts, we were set for the road. I was the driver because her driving license had not yet been processed. After two kilometers drive, the engine died and there was nothing we could do about it. We called my big brother to come help us. It did not take him long to get there and at the first glance he told us the car had many errors not the engine. We tried to call the man who sold us the car but his phone was off. So much for trusting people! This was all unfair for my friend who had invested so much in the car. Too bad in the country was no consumer rights for used cars. We felt helpless watching her cry. It was a lesson to all of us to get an expert before we purchase anything second hand.
