A cushion can tie in a room’s colors nicely and is usually more comfortable, but isn’t always necessary. If the chair or sofa won’t be used for much sitting and is mainly a decorative piece, you may prefer to leave it without a cushion and show off the wicker. If you are using the wicker furniture outdoors, this may also be the preferred option since you won’t have to dry a cushion after it rains. But it is up to you, your budget, and your personal style.
