I have never had to purchase items such as a wine rack, or book stands, never pay someone to add a room, install a sliding glass do, or build a deck. I am happy to watch him perform his miracles. My reality has recently had a sudden and uncomfortable shift; my husband is talking about us installing solar panels for our hot water heater; as in us, together, as in me working with my hands, and with tools, and trying to follow directions. He did give the the instructions, after my meltdown, and I am reassured that it is possible that we can do this.
