History of Spa Jets

March 31st, 2008 . by admin

During the initial stages of the spa industry, there were few varieties of spa jets and few spa jet replacement tactics. There was a basic thumb rule like most of the jets required a flow rate of 20 gallons per minute or 1 ¼ horsepower per jet. If you have four jets in your spa then you needed a total flow of 120 gpm and a 1 horsepower pump. Today there are various types of spa jets with different flow requirements; therefore before you opt for spa jets replacement, you should always consult the jet manufacturer. Most spa jets require a special tool to get them properly fitted.
