Master List of Food Service Chemicals
August 13th, 2010 . by adminI asked my secretary to make a list of all the items that we currently purchase from the commercial cleaners. We need to make a master list of all the chemicals in the hospital cafeteria and provide new MSDS sheets for each product. My secretary gave me an extensive list. It included heavy duty degreasers, no-rinse sanitizers, spray cleaners, and stainless steel polish. She mentioned that these items are concentrated chemicals and get diluted through an automated system before the employees use them. I made a note of her comment and was not sure if they played into the chemical hazard training that I was to schedule or not.
