Scholarships and 529 plans
January 30th, 2008 . by adminWhen a person has invested in the 529 plans of the state that he lives in and subsequently his child is intelligent and hard-working enough to get a scholarship, then the money that is meant for the education of the child can be used either partially or fully by some other person. Of course, it is necessary for this other person to be eligible to get the money according to the 529 plans that are in place in the particular state. In some cases, where the scholarship is not enough, then the money from the 529 plans is used.
