Foreclosure – opportunity for investors, pain for homeowners

Speculative investing and greed on the part of lenders, coupled with the desire and expectation of would-be homeowners that everyone should own their own home – "the American Dream" – has created a very difficult situation for many people who thought they were on the way to financial success. Of course, foreclosure presents great opportunities for those with free cash – many properties are now available at drastically reduced prices. Foreclosure investing is part of Donald Trump's massive portfolio. For many, however, the current situation means more calls from the debt collectors, and a sense of financial uncertainty.
