Computer animation jobs don’t fall like raindrops from the sky because it’s mainly freelance oriented. As long as you know what you are really worth, it would be great for you to set your terms accordingly during negotiation. Initially, it makes sense not to act too pricey but once you have proved your worth, there is no need to cave in. It’s not a bad idea to compromise but it is a bad idea to undervalue your work so don’t do that while you are in the animation industry!
