Making Presentations: Minimize Setup

July 17th, 2008 . by admin

It can be very awkward when a speaker can't get their equipment set up on time. They might be fussing with the computer to bring up their slide show, adjusting the sound equipment, or fumbling with their note cards. This takes time away from the speech.

Think about the setup time when you are Prosper presentations. Have everything ready and waiting. This includes the use of visual aids during the speech as well. You don't want to look for the right poster or have to backtrack the Powerpoint if you miss something. Prepare and practice the presentation to work out all the kinks.
