There are eight steps to the prince 2 methodology of project management. They include the start up, how to direct a project, initiating the project, the control of a stage, how to manage stage boundaries, the planning phase, managing delivery of the product ad closing the project. During all of these phases, the process has project management apply five different concepts. These are control, quality, planning, lessons learned and, of course, risk management. These processes and concepts are quite standard in the industry. However, the Prince 2 process is quite open to new ideas which is why it is so popular a process to follow.
What with growing energy costs and other expenses, I’ve been looking into Lean Manufacturing Principles to see if we can improve our efficiency.
My research on Lean Manufacturing Classes has shown that we’d have to make a lot of adjustments, but the results would be well worth it in the long run.
I’m hoping that increases in efficiency will help keep us viable through the difficult economic times to come.

I’ve been reading up all over the web on Lean Manufacturing Training. The adjustment process would be painful, but I think we can manage it.
Greater efficiency is always the best way to improve the bottom line, in my mind, because it can all happen inside the company. It doesn’t depend on anyone but ourselves.

I had never thought about it until it was pointed out to me that all of my media storage was not kept at the right temperature to ensure its safety. We are in the top loft of a business building downtown and during the week the office is kept nice and cool but on the weekends the building is not kept ventilated. It must have the room for inputs that is right for your operation. It may be wise to see a software professional when making this decision.
The budget is tight to say the least but we are in the market to purchase Accpac accounting software. The problem I am having as I look at all of the different products on the market is that some of them seem to have more features then we need and that is keeping the cost up. If I buy a software module that does not offer enough options then as the company grows we will end up having to buy a new and more advanced software in the future.
