Employee Output Motivation
March 30th, 2009 . by adminI own a business that most of the profit is based on the performance of a few key employees. I have done a lot of research to see what character traits are the best to have in these specific roles. I came across Organizational Citizenship Behavior, otherwise known as OCB. This is a quality that some possess that drives a worker to go above and beyond without the need for much coaching, motivation, or reward system. Their reward system is internal and the finished job is what gives them the satisfaction. I have decided to take the employees that I see this quality in and have them mentor others so that perhaps they can teach others their motivation.
