identity theft statistics

December 30th, 2007 . by admin

Recent Identity Theft Statistics are alarmingly indicating that the cases of people who are lodging complaints for identity theft are going up by something like 40% every two years. The Federal Trade Commission reports indicate that identity theft is on top of the heap of all consumer complaints that are launched each year. There are several different kinds of identity theft that are happening, though. At the top of this heap are forms of identity theft such as opening illegal credit card accounts, bank accounts and subscribing to utility services in someone else’s name.
