Prince 2 – Eight Steps To Project Management

They include the start up, how to direct a project, initiating the project, the control of a stage, how to manage stage boundaries, the planning phase, managing delivery of the product ad closing the project. During all of these phases, the process has project management apply five different concepts. These are control, quality, planning, lessons learned and, of course, risk management. These processes and concepts are quite standard in the industry. However, the Prince 2 process is quite open to new ideas which is why it is so popular a process to follow.
