Music Lessons A Part of Growing Up

Children’s music lessons, though often portrayed as a drudgery, help provide kids not just a way to learn an instrument and music theory, but they also help kids brains develop in ways that help them outside of the music world as well. While exposure to music can shortly after birth, and children can be exposed to the basic building blocks of music while still in preschool, most experts advice that lesson begin no sooner than age 5.
