Ventilation and Greenhouse Cooling

February 11th, 2010 . by admin

Proper ventilation is necessary to achieve greenhouse cooling.  Not only does it remove the heat from the greenhouse, but it also helps the evaporation process.  In climates that are hot and dry, it is important to keep the temperature inside the greenhouse cooler than the temperature outside. To do this, it may be necessary to combine proper ventilation with cooling systems that create relative humidity.  The purpose of this is to mix the dry air with the humid air for the perfect cooling effect.  It is also necessary to produce an even amount of ventilation to remove heat and create an even temperature within the greenhouse.
