After the release of the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Microsoft Xbox Nintendo had to make a come back or face extinction. So they released their Nintendo Game Cube video game console, which never really caught on with consumers says DSTTi. All they had were the same Mario Bros titles that only appealed to kids. The fiasco with the Game Cube almost put them out. Microsoft then released their Xbox 360 and Sony their PlayStation 3 which made Nintendo change direction with their Nintendo Wii motion control video game console. No one saw anything like it, it did so well it shot up to the top of the sales ranks. Good Job Nintendo.
