One Thing On His Wish List: Vans Shoes

Every year around their birthdays, I call them and ask for a wish list, and every year they willingly oblige. This year when I got my oldest grandson’s list, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. All he wanted was a pair of vans shoes, and I didn’t know what that meant. A pair of shoes shaped like vans? So I asked my paperboy, who was all too willing to tell me what vans were, and the coolest pairs. On his recommendation I bought a pair my grandson loved, and gave the paperboy’s mom a birthday gift idea too.
