Helping a Friend to Write a Eulogy Was Never This Hard
July 31st, 2009 . by adminIt was a terrible accident. A collision between a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed and a large deer with never have a good result. The result of this accident was the end of a young man’s life and the devastation of his family and friends. I didn’t know him personally, but one of my good friends did. She was even asked to help write his eulogy. She asked me in tears, “How do you write a eulogy for a friend? How do you get past your grief and think of something to say?” I offered to help and spent a lot of time listening to her talk about him and making notes. She used my notes and wrote a beautiful passage that was very heartfelt. I was glad I could help.
