Instead of Selling We Added Wall Insulation
October 30th, 2009 . by adminFor over twenty years my husband and I told each other that we could not wait to sell our drafty old home. And yet we still live there today and love it more than ever. The reason for our change of heart was as simple as insulation. Neither of us knew much about building construction and just assumed that the our old house was built so badly it would never we warm enough. Two years ago a friend with the same problem had wall insulation installed and it made a huge difference. We followed his lead and could not believe how cozy our home became. Once it was comfortable we realized we actually loved the old building and plan to stay.
