If You Can’t Beat Insomnia, Embrace It!
February 16th, 2010 . by adminI have a lot of trouble sleeping. I’ve tried a lot of different things over the years. Consistently for over a year I abstained from caffeine, consumed little sugar, avoided anything with red dye, went to bed every night at 7 o’clock and got up at 6 o’clock in the morning. However, I still wouldn’t get to sleep until 3 or 4 o’clock at in the morning. I’ve never taken sleeping pills because I believe natural sleep is important and I have seen how easily people become dependent on them. These days I make my own schedule, as I am enrolled in school online. I eat and drink what I want. While I still don’t get to sleep till 3 or 4 o’clock in the morning, I don’t bother laying in bed for hours trying to sleep now that when I do get to sleep I can sleep in till 9 or 10 o’clock. I tend to be tired often and easily, but I much prefer my current lifestyle to my previously regulated one.
