From High School to Real Life
June 29th, 2009 . by adminWhen I was in high school, I took welding classes all four years. The final year, me and a couple buddies decided to fabricate hitch cargo carriers during class, and sell them. Who knew that our project would take off like it did? We had so many orders that year, that we had to work after school and on weekends, and of course during classes. We ended up making so much money, that when we graduated, two of us started a welding company in town. We are so busy these days that we have to turn away work, and it’s just funny how such a successful business started with teenage boys looking to make extra money to buy beer and take girls out.
